Hey, Pink. My centerpieces are going to look something like your first picture. Very simple- they are orange daisies and I am going to put them in a little vase with maybe some ribbon or something around them. Oh, and I am going to put little crystals in the vase, as well, just for something sparkly:) I also wanted to put up candles but I figure since we are having our reception on the beach, we probably won't be able to light them so I might get those light up ice cubes and put them in the bottom of the vases to make them glow. I want to get those cloudy looking vases so then you can't see the ice cubes. Something like that :) Sure beats spending like $70 on a centerpiece! lol

KPEG, I think if you want to play your music, you have to hire the resort's dj so you can use their speakers. Or, bring your own. I hired DJ Mannia and wasn't sure about this, either. I want music before and after the ceremony but I want to keep the dj for as much as the reception as possible so I think we are going to hire the trio for ceremony/cocktail hour and then have the dj start off with dinner.

Congrads, Jenne!! Have an amazing time! Don't let anything or anyone get in the way of YOUR day! Drink lots of champagne:) Can't wait to hear back from you =)

And here is how it came out (did it a couple of weeks ago but havent had the time to upload them) using paper lanterns since they fold flat so they are easy to bring down, didnt put the lights in them yet though and still have a couple more sizes and shapes coming in the mail.

I know it's probably really busy with the weddings at the resort now but has anyone heard back from Tiara or Yanna at all? I emailed Yanna just about a week ago and have gotten nothing back.

And thanks Gem and Dolfinluck. Still not sure what to do for music. I have the trio for the cocktail hour (or so said the 2009 contract - we may pay for it anyway) but don't want to hire a dj (tight budget). Was the Bose docker expensive? I don't even have an ipod... sad.gif lol!

When you email the WC, do you have your date in the email? that might help, lately Tiara has been responding pretty quickly to me, same day or within 3 days. I know they have 43 weddings for this month and 40 for May so they are super busy.

Bose dock is about $400, i figure for the cost of the trio and dj we are saving money plus we will have it for after the wedding. I would ask someone in your wedding party that has an iPod to put the music together. That's my FI job since he really hasnt done much.
