ONE MONTH TO GO!!
LOL this is so cute and hysterical!!!

2 confessions from myself:

1 - I did nothing but work on my planning thread for BDW yesterday and eat pizza...
2 - I've had nightmares every night this week which have caused me to not sleep and act like a zombie who hasn't worked out nearly as much as she needs too, can anyone say life of the party? LOL.

Lets see, did I do ANYTHING this week?

I repacked 2 suitcases...

I spent HOURS on my planning thread, it's ridiculous

Spent time looking for a wedding clutch

Went shopping all day Saturday, bought some Mexico clothes and shoes

Received my Boudoir book!

Did our 4th dance lesson, we have the whole dance now and one more lesson to get it down cold.

Today I have my 2nd dress fitting and I ate pizza last night and I am the guiltiest person ever (see Diana, love my stupid dairy!) so I'm pretty convinced my dress won't fit. Even though it will... I'm just losing my mind.

My hair trial is on Thursday so that's exciting!

i went to my first fitting and all i needed to have done was the hem shortened and a bustle added... so hopefully my second fitting with be my last! we have issues if they get either of those things wrong!
I had to hem the dress, add a bustle, cut back some of the boning so I can sit comfortably and that's it. Hopefully it comes back early!

Di, yay for getting some stuff done! I really like the fans w/ wrapped handles. Can't wait to see everyone's projects!

Cara - who needs to sit? wink.gif Seriously though, that's not bad in terms of alterations! Hope you get it back super fast.

Amy, your dress will absolutely fit - one pizza fest isn't gonna ruin you. Sounds like a great weekend! So exciting to get your BD book!! I still don't have my pics back yet & it's been over 3 weeks. Granted Jen was out of town for a couple weeks, but man am I anxious to see them!

How are you doing your hair? Do you have a flower/veil or both? You'll have to post some pics after your trial!

Today I am in panic mode...work is crazy and now I am second guessing my dress. I decided on a short wedding dress, 1 so it's cooler and 2 so I am not too formal against FI. Now I am wondering if I should have went with a longer dress but we leave May 4th plus I think FI would have a heart attack if I bought another dress.

Shoot, Chrissy! Take a deep breath & relax. Well, if it makes you feel any better I think everyone second guesses their choice at some point. I still go back & forth about whether I should've bought the flowy chiffon type I thought I was going to get (ended up with lace trumpet style).

But most importantly - how do you feel when you put it on? Do you feel like a bride & can you see yourself marrying your love in it? DW's aren't traditional and even though many girls get more traditional dresses, anything goes. Truly! I think short dresses are really cute and fun! I guess ask yourself how you feel in it and what vibe you're going for. And maybe get the opinion of someone you really trust.

If you're really not feeling your dress you could go to like David's Bridal or somewhere they sell dresses off the rack. You could use the short one as a TTD (if you're having a TTD session) or change into it for the reception or even wear it to the AHR if you're having one. I wouldn't worry about FI's reaction. I'm sure he wants you to be happy and you could always try selling either, or both, after the wedding.

Do you have a pic of the dress so we can see?
