Groom wants tungsten, but can't find a 9.75!!

Recommended Posts

Ok, so my groom wants a white gold inlay tungsten ring, however we're having the hardest time finding one that is a size 9.75. Seriously the 9.5 is too tight and the 10 is too loose.

Does anyone know of where we can find one?

Tungsten doesn't come in anything but whole and half sizes unfortunately, no quarter sizes! But what you could look for is different fits in the tungsten rings, some have the inside more snug which means the 10 will fit better. My FI got the "comfort fit" and he was an 11.75 and the 12 fit great!

Not sure where you've shopped for tungsten rings before but we bought FI's ring through Tungsten Rings ~ Men's Tungsten Carbide Ring (Tungsten Wedding Bands) and love it! Their customer service is really good so it might be worth a call to see what their recommendation is.

Initially we had bought FI an 8.5 which was what we measured him at. They had recommended a half size smaller but we stuck with what we had - and now we're waiting for the size 8 to come in the mail! LOL! It seems to be with the comfort fit bands, the sizing is just a little off from what a standard band sizing would be, so you might find that by going to the nearest half size lower in a comfort fit that it works well.

But I'd definitely say to call them and check it out. They also have a really good return/sizing policy that's definitely a nice option to have!

FH and I decided to get a pair of tungsten wedding bandsfrom Larson Jewelers and we are quite happy. They don't have quarter sizes but I'm sure they can help you. We had many questions about tungsten before we bought ours and they were very helpful. I would suggest you give them a call and see if they can help you.
