Hi Janet,

Initially, Cabo was a real contender but then I started reading some posts saying it is really expensive. Did you find that to be the case. Were you happy with the location, photographer, caterers, etc? Any vendors you would recommend? Would you do it again there? Sorry for so many questions.

BTW - your photos look great! I liked how your photographer had posed and candid shots.

Welcome to the forum !

Don't forget that if you are planning on having guests under 18 (or maybe 21 in some cases) they will not be able to attend your wedding at a Sandals resort. Only will allow them.

Have fun planning everything

Annie

Hi, we went to the Couples resort in Jamaica last year and loved it but we wanted to try visiting somewhere different for our wedding. At the couples resort we only saw three weddings the entire 8 days we were there and none were on the same day so it didn't seem so "factory" like. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

That villa is SOOO gorgeous but it seems expensive to rent. Did your girlfriend post her info on this site? If so, do you have links to that info? Thanks.

Thanks for the mini review! I've never been to Jamaica, but chose Ocho Rios cuz it reminded me the most of Hawaii with the lush gardens, waterfalls, mountains, and ocean. I chose Sandals b/c it was the best deal for the money for me and guests. I really like that the welcome reception and rehearsal dinner are incl free. I have mixed feelings about the "cookie-cutter" nature of it all, but since this will be the majority of my guests 1st time in Jamaica, I wanted them (and us) to be able to go and not have to keep paying for various activities, food, etc. I'm getting married and Sandals Grande Ocho Rios. I'm looking forward to checking out the waterfalls.

I have been to the Bahamas though and it's beautiful!
