Hi Mandymert!
We can bring an outside photographer- I don't see it in the contract either, but I emailed Aurora asking her if it was okay and would I have to buy him a day pass and she responded "Is required to purchase a day pass for the photographer the cost is : $90 USD full day pass or $55 usd half day pass." So I'm assuming because that was her answer, that it's okay to bring someone in =)

NicoRuskies - Sounds great! I am sure we can find some time to at least have a drink with all of the festivities going on! :)

So, I have finally ordered the paper lanterns 30 (green, aqua & orange from paerlatnerns & Lunabazaar- $87) & the Welcome postcards (stole the idea from Patti- Thanks girl!!) for the OOT bags (Target $2.50 each - blue & green) that we will hole punch & attach to the handles ($22.90 from Vistaprint for 100 - that was the smallest amount to order, but got the order 50% off, so it was worth it)! I have attached pics of the Welcome cards. My fiance & I came up with the wording together! I love it!! We are ALL sooo close! It is creeping up, but I can't wait!! Hope you all are having a great week! Happy St. Patrick's Day! :)

Wow, your welcome post cards look great.

I have so much to do but i have been living in Germany the last 7 months. I am soo looking forward to going home to canada next week to finish all my planning. I still need to decide on my center pieces, favors, OOT bags, shoes, first dress fitting and on and on. Seriously i am starting to stress. I am soo indecisive and also don't have final numbers. Hopefully when i get home everything will start falling into place.

Who is using the resort photographer? If not which are you going with, i heard a few of you are going with Samuel Luna.

Hi Amy!
I didn't even think about making my hair appointment. May I ask who you contacted? And how soon before the ceremony did you make your appointment for? All these details can make a girl crazy!!! Thanks!

I contacted the salon manager Jana Switch: [email protected]
My day is planned like this:
9 am - massage
11:30 - lunch
1pm - hair and makeup (this is supposed to take about 2 hours)
we are doing the mimosas and chocolate covered fruit during this time ($10 per person)
5pm - wedding

Somewhere in there I will have some photos... I'll know what time after we meet with the photographer.

I would schedule your hair and makeup ASAP! When I first tried to last month, they told me they had no openings because other brides were already scheduled. I guess they brought on another stylist. I'm just glad I got my appointments!!

Hi - I'm going with the resort photographer. During our site visit last year they showed us photos they had dones from alot of other weddings and they looked really great. Maybe not as artsy as what an off site photographer will do, but I plan to photoshop some of the photos myself when I get home.
