Does anyone else qualify for the Its All About The Bride special? It was promoted May last year. After X amount of rooms you get $Y for upgrades and $Z towards resort charges. I didn't think I qualified for this one b/c it was never listed as one of my promotions. Then suddenly it showed up on my details sheet last week that we have a $96 resort credit left over from the It's All About the Bride promotion. I don't even know what this promotion is! I know nothing about upgrade credits, but since we're all in the Deluxe rooms, there's nothing to upgrade to! Lol, unless they want to give us the Suite... wink.gif

Basically it's a sexy, lingerie, pin-up (or whatever you want to wear) photoshoot of you for your future husband. Shoot I am jealous. There is not a single fast food restaurant or chain store on this island except for a lone KFC that was brought in before they made the rules for no franchises.... I miss Starbucks! I bought that instant stuff over Xmas and its just not the same....

Yikes! Every place I've lived abroad at least had a few of the comforts from home for the days when I just needed something familiar and not so strange. That's interesting about the no franchise rule. Hopefully they make up for it in great local fare!

Ladies, I'm the saddest kid on the block right now... My photo did my BD book layout and gave me the link and password to access it online.

 

I spent about 5 hours one night making notes in the comment boxes below each page of what I wanted changed/added. I wrote an inscription and put some quotes and song lyrics on some pages. I put my heart and soul into it and really took the time to make it good.

 

I was really proud of it and did it about a month ago and just emailed my photog because I never got the updated online proof.

 

So I clicked "send changes" and it sent it off to him and I heard back from him today... there's NO info in there. He never got any changes and now I can't even remember what I said, quotes I used or any changes at all... I'm so upset, this is devastating ugh!

 

So I thought since so many of you girls have this shoot coming up, if you make any changes/inscriptions/quotes - keep a separate record of it just in case, I highly regret this now. frown.gif

oh sweetie sad.gif that sucks big time. i totally feel your pain (as I've done it with an online photo album where I'd uploaded pics, organised them in the order I wanted, picked the layout of all the individual pages and wrote comments on everything and the poxy thing crashed) not the same scale, but I know that awful feeling of spending all that time doing something and then the even more rubbish feeling when you realise you've got to do it again but you can't remember what you said the first time.
