Mommies to be check in

I am a super cheapo so I shopped pretty cheap. I got pants at Motherhood maternity, old navy and gap. I got a few shirts at Motherhood maternity as well. I ended up finding some SUPER cute shirts for really cheap at Ross. The one thing I found was that as your belly gets bigger it starts becoming a drop mat. I got stains constantly on my shirts. And I am usually so good about not staining clothes. So, I wouldn't spend TOO much on everyday clothes.

thanks Jenni!! Yes, very close together, 16 months apart!!

Trisha- She has a tooth already! too cute! Matt has some catching up to do because I don't even feel a bump yet on his gums.

Kayte- Yes, Ross has maternity clothes. I was the same way as Kat, I didn't want to spend a lot on maternity clothes especially since I knew I wouldn't be wearing them too long (i didn't wear mine until late in my pregnancy). And Kat is so right about always getting stains on clothes, it happen to me all the time! Your belly is just a target for food!! I found some of my cutest maternity clothes at Ross. Since I was pregnant during summer, I found cute and comfortable tank tops and capris at Old Navy, and that's what I wore the majority of the time.

Hey everbody!!!! I'm back, and a new mommy. Shayne Charles was born on 2/22/10 at 2:11p.m. via C-Section. He was 8lbs. 3ozs. and 21.5 inches. The C-Section went well despite all my anxiety about it. There was only one complication, when they made the incision they found that one of my abdominal muscles had detached, rolled down, then attached to my uterus (probably the cause of all my pain the last few months). So getting in and then closing me back up took a little longer than usual because of having to work to remove the muscle from my uterus and then reattach it where it belonged. My recovery overall has been a little more difficult than my last C-Section but, my son is AMAZING so it is all worth it. He is a great baby, not a screamer, took to nursing right away and just so laid back. I'm totally in love smile159.gif Here are a few shots of the little guy. Its crazy how much he looks like my first son as an infant.

She does! And this weekend she popped two more!!! It's funny though, I never felt a bump on her gums either. Just all of a sudden a little razor blade toothie!!! :) I'm sure Matt is going to be getting his really soon!

Margie, congratulations! He is just adorable! I love the picture of him in his bed looking over. So cute!
