Our first dance song which I'm thinking will be done in the sand at our Bonfire reception in Jamaica will be - TRUE LOVE - SOJA ( soldiers of jah army ) I'm in love with it.

My FI actually picked it out. We've been together 9 years since we were 16 and after 3 years of dating, we had picked this as our wedding song! It's original and that's what I love about it. The lyrics are magical.

At last, also. But the Beyonce version. Just to make it more modern.

Anyone considering not having a first dance? Neither my FI or I really like to dance, just wondering if anyone had any other ideas?

We choose a song by Mana (mexican group) called "Bendita tu Luz"... it is PERFECT for us, as this is my favorite band!!!!

love love love love loveeeeeee this song!!!!!! Great choice, I've always thought it could be our wedding song too! Similar situation - been together for 7 and dated since we were 17/18 and I totally thought the same thing when I first fell in love with it! But I was concerned that it might be a little long and maybe a little too slow... are you cutting it down at all?

I'm kinda old school and every since I was little I wanted to use Always and Forever by Heatwave. we might decided on something else though.
