Well, my dress made it home tonight. Right now I'm quite disappointed. It is like one size too large at the waist/hips, and probably more at the chest (I had it tailored to my measurements). The is kind of an extra not uniform material layer between the satin & the inner layer (sewn) that is causing to creasing/bunching (not sure how to describe). I'll have to see someone in the next days to see how much it would cost to fix. In addition, the neckline is not exactly what I would like (this is not so bad, but added to the rest...).

I knew I was taking a risk, but still... Was expecting to post nice pics tonight!

That sucks! I'm sorry your experience didn't go as hoped. Did you go ahead and order from Landy as you said you were going to previously? hopefully things can be fixed for minimal cost! I'd still like to see pictures if you're not too shy about posting them!

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. It sounds fixable hopefully? I know that the whole point of ordering custom size is to not have to fix, but hopefully it is. Where did you get it from?

I am so sorry that it turned out like that. Hope you can fix it. would be great if you would share some pictures and tell us who you ordered from.

My dress from gianinarbridal should be done in 3-4 weeks. After your post I am kinda worried now. I HAVE to like mine. My fiancé will probably kill me if not because I convinced him for months of the idea to order a knock-off... jk, he is the loveliest person I know, but still... He always said I should play safe and go with a dress from a store even if I dont find the "perfect one"... I think I just hate to hear the sentence: "I told you" :-D

Oh no!!! There's got to be a way to fix it. I'm really sorry to hear that, it's tough choosing a dress online.

If you feel ok about posting pictures, we could always give you our opinion and suggestions regarding how to fix it.

Either way, good luck!
