I haven't seen any pictures of hair/makeup but I am getting both done by them and so are my bridesmaids. We are going to have a backup hairstyle just in case we don't like it, but for myself, I have a trial booked for two days before the wedding which is complementary I think because we booked the Dreams Ultimate Wedding Package.

I am also having both my hair and make-up done at the resort spa. Would you be able to post your experience with them and if you were happy with both the hair and make-up that they did for you? It would be greatly appreciated. I am very nervous about having them do my make-up for me, but there is no way that I would be able to do it myself since I normally don't wear make-up. Thanks.

I tried to get pictures from their salon manager, but she said they didn't have any... but that they would be happy to do a trial before the wedding.

I wonder if they charge for the trial??

Thanks for the info... I'm also using the resort because I don't normally put on makeup myself. When I talked to Elke (spa manager) she said the trial was complementary.

I have been talking to Elke with the spa and she has sent me some pictures of hair updos that they have done. Hope this is helpful. She also says to bring any pictures you like and they will try to match it.

Hello fellow DLR Brides, I have been reading this very long thread and everything has been so helpful. We are booked to get married 5/7/11 and I have already been doing all my booking. I am very anal with getting everything done and set early. So far I have contacted a dj, photogropher, hairstylist (who is a friend of mine) and Makeup artist (my sister she is a professional makeup artist and does photoshoots, mags, movies, videos etc she already told me she will not let anyone else do my makeup LOL). So my questions are if anyone knows if there is a cigar roller option or one I may contact. Also I saw that there are extras such as fireworks does anyone know if that is an option at DLR and are they worth it? And what excursions are available?

When is your wedding? Mine is April 21st so I will definitely let you know when we get back!

Fyniac, what wedding package package are you going with? Is the hair trial included with the wedding package or just because you are getting your hair done there on your wedding day?
