I have received a quote from gianinarbridal to make my dress $189 to include shipping, which i think is very good.

 

Have had a hard time deciding between all three manufacturers, Landy, Duosheng, Gianinarbridal.

I think i am leaning towards Gianinarbridal as you only have to pay for half first, then get your proof pictures, before they finish the dress.

This makes me feel more confident in ordering from them.

After the comments about Gianinarbridal, I've also contacted them for a quote. The seller that I contacted previously wants to complete the transaction outside ebay and I'm not really comfortable doing that. Paypal might protect me but I still want the added protection of ebay.

Well... they might do a listing if you ask them too but I had them make a dress not in their ebay listings and we didn't do anything through ebay, just paypal. But at least you have MANY girls here telling you its legit and you'll be fine just going through paypal!

So true! The seller I was going to use suddenly had nothing in their ebay store and when I questioned them about it, they said that they had no money in their ebay account to list anything. eep, that makes me wayyyy too nervous!

 

I already got an email back from gianinarbridal and they said the same dress I was quoted for $350 from the other seller was $120! I'd have to pay shipping of $59 but its still way cheaper than the other seller!

you girls are doing a real good job with all the information you provide... I will definitely get a knock-off dress too... so does gianinarbridal accept orders outside of ebay too? can I just send them pictures and tell them what I want and they do it?

That's exactly what I did and it turned out awesome! Plus they don't have to pay the ebay fees so they probably like it as well.

All I did was to email them with an enquiry asking if they could make a wedding gown. I sent them pictures with the email (as an attachment) so they could see the dress i wanted. A few hours later I had my quote.

I ordered outside of ebay and paid deposit through paypal on Tuesday, an email came wednesday to say they are starting my dress on Thursday. They said the dress wil take approx 30-40 days to finish, when they will send photos for my approval.
They have fantastic communication and reply really quickly to questions.
