Wow, that's a great price! I'm glad that you are doing slacks, white shirt and vest as well, it felt like I was the only one for awhile not doing a very beachy theme.

As for your dilemna, this is what I immediately thought of that I would do. Have a girlfriend take a photo of you in your dress. Then have a GM try on the outfit if they can and take a picture and put them next to each other (so no one has to see you in your dress)

I honestly don't think it's going to be an issue because they are wearing a vest AND you don't need to be matching them color to color exactly. My dress is very light ivory and everyone else including FI will be wearing white shirts with vests.

Besides, you're supposed to look different than everyone! I really don't think it will clash at all :)

Not sure if anyone is feeling "Blue Monday"? I defintitely am!!! It was preceded by pajama wii day at my house yesterday....needless to say I didn't accomplish as much as I wanted this weekend.

 

- I did however review my list of who still needs an STD - they should be completed by the end of the week.

- I did arrange a time for one of my BM's to try some dresses on and I emailed the rest of the pictures of the dresses I like. Also lit the fire under them to get their deposits paid.

- Our invitation idea's/ examples have been emailed off.

- Our at home engagement party in Calgary - so far we have verbal invites but not much more than that done.

 

I did actually get a lot more done than I thought I did originally and there's still the rest of the week to offically accomplish more.

 

We also had a fanstasia party on Saturday night for ladies only... that was a wild night!

Hi girls, I recently decided that I wanted a different garter altogether than the one I already bought (which I haven't even tried on) and I was going to send different invites to all the family I invited that hasn't said a word since I sent them the save the dates and decided against that too. So my invite set I bought from Michaels and it's a Martha Stewart print yourself set.

 

If any of your are interested, let me know and I'll send you pictures. I just figured I'd offer these to you girls first before I offer it to the rest of BDW :)

ladies!!! help i found these shoes that I love and am deciding how badly i need them...

they are definatley not your average shoe,that's what i love about them.

Kitteneheart your pics were so beautiful I spoke to my photog about a BD shoot in mexico and he said he'd do it for $150 incl a brag book!! So i think i'm going to go for it!!

That is why I think I need the shoes. They'd be hot for the pics.....i think

What do you girls think. I do like things that stand out.

Amy, I'd say I agree with Amy (lol) but my money is on that you are just worrying and it probably looks great :)
