Thanks! It wasn't a complete 180. I knew I wanted a mermaid type fit for the dress but all of the dresses I was seeing in magazines that I thought I liked were much simpler. I never expected to end up with a dress with a lot of beading and detail. I actually wasn't that crazy about it when I saw it on the hanger and wasn't hesitant to try it on. But I am so glad that I did and I couldn't be happier now.

The best advice I can offer anyone is try it on not matter what it looks like on the hanger! Almost every dress looks different once it's on.

Lolo- Gorgeous dress! I also have a Pronovias with buttons with little elastics down the back. I am not too worried about getting it on (unless I am bloated!) as I will have mom there with a crochet hook. I do, however, worry about FI getting it off and undone later on! Yikes. I just might sleep in it...

I couldn't agree with your advise more. I wanted a ballgown dress that was simple with no beading. I ended up with a aline gown with a lace overlay that had beading on it. My mum pulled it and I had one of the sales ladies put it back becuase I didn't want to try it on. Another sales lady brought it back into my room so I gave in and tried it on. Thank goodness I did because I love it. And more to it, it was way under budget!

The celebrity wedding planner from "My Fair Wedding" on WE. He just launched his own line of bridal gowns. I had an appointment at Bridal Reflections in NYC and he happened to have a trunk show there that weekend. I got to meet him, he was really nice and very honest which I really appreciated.

Those dresses are lovely, make sure you try them on though if you haven't already. I looked terrible in chiffon dresses without much structure - so I think it really depends how each particular dress works with your body type. It's so hard to tell from pictures sometimes, I love them both though! Good luck deciding smile29.gif
