Married or going to be married at Grand Palladium Punta Cana?

I think the thing to remember about Carolina is that she's a pro! She does up to 3 weddings everyday, and her timelines aren't the same as ours. Things that we think are complicated to figure out, she's dealt with before and will have an easy solution for us i bet. I'm usually so tense and stressed about organizing things, but there's something about this, that I just feel confident it will be great - or it hasn't kicked in yet, which is a very good possibility!

 

As for not signing paperwork - i think it's all the same kind of story as above. I did fill out a Word document with info on it. I think that is sort of like the contract. i am going to be taking every email correspondence I've made with the resort regarding anything - i.e. time, venue, restaurant, price, etc. with me so in case of any issues.

That paper you mention, i have it, but never had to sign it or send it to her!!! so I don't even have that as a contract. I will definitely bring all he e-mails with the confirmed time and date and any other question i had ask and she anwered.

Hopefully there will be no problems and we all get married!

When did you get the "contract" that she had you sign and send back? I am sure it will be fine, and we all know that's what happens with a Destination Wedding -- lack of control, lol I think I just want to get the confirmation from Carolina instead of her assistant, then I will feel better lol.

 

Tracy! I just noticed you live in Montreal! We were there over Christmas and are going through in a few weeks to a wedding in Sherbrooke!

I got the contract with the wedding packages.. she never told me i had to fill it out and send it to her.
Maybe it's something I'll send to her when I send my legal and translated documents.

hahaha well it's my FI family that lives in Sherbrooke -- so I take no offence to that!! It was very cold when we were there! His sisters actually live on the west island, so I went shopping there at the Mall in Pointe-Claire!! And I love the St. Hubert there haha!

I am very interesting in a DW at the Palladium in the winter of 2011. Most of my guests told me they would be confortable to pay between $1300-$1400. Does anyone know if i could make the palladium possible in those price flying from Ottawa?

I think it's very possible... If not you could consider going through montreal.. Where I am my parents paied 1208 tax in for April.
