MyPublisher vs. SharedInk

Recommended Posts

I couldn't believe the cost. Its like $30 for a hardback cover. My FSIL really does an awesome job and I wouldn't have to pay her anything. SO my only cost would be getting them into a book and I would like good quality since it is such an intimate gift.

Remember that that is for a limited number of pages...

Anyway you can check out these other threads about iPhoto and other albums:

You can buy iPhoto books two ways. One is thru iPhoto directly, the other is thru MyPublisher. They are of similar quality but I might give a slight edge to the iPhoto ones. However, with the 40% off coupon codes on MyPublisher, those are WAY cheaper.

Either way, you can do all of the design in iPhoto, making it super easy.

It's a one-time thing. You have to say you're a photographer to do it. I think I did a google search to find their photographer program.

Sarah, your brother's book came out so nice. I assume this is like the coffee table bookhuh.gif

My sister did something similar with pics of her daughter on Shutterfly (I think) and I think she paid around $100 for it. Came out really nice.

I hadn't heard of sharedink.com, so that's good to know about. Not sure how Jill is doing my BD photobook, but I'll let you know how it goes once I receive it. I defeinitely want to find the best quality because I plan to use it to make several books over the next few months. Thanks!!

bringing back this thread because I was wondering about Shared Ink...I see they only have linen books, how did you get a leather bound book Sarah? Is that only through the photographers account? I am going to start working on books so I can get them out for Christmas presents for my parents and Will's parents and don't want to use my publisher if its not a good quality of book, especially for my own book.

I just looked up the program myself as I want to take bd photos and do my own album. I think you can get the leather bound books only through the photographers program. it looks pretty cool! I think I might purchase it.
