Does anyone have any idea of who might have done the gown? Like most bridal shops, the only tag in the gown is from the shop- not the designer.

It's weird, I remember a friend asking me for a sample of my material and told me to take it from the inside seams. Her mom is making my veil and she is making my garter, hence wanting material to match color. Well, when you look inside my gown- you can't get at the seams. I know when you look at shots of the train, you can *see* the shadow of the seams when the sun is hitting it, but it's like the material has no seams exposed. I don't know HOW they made this gown. I looked for an exposed seam because that was another place I was told you'll sometimes find the maker's info- but nada. You'd think since this was a sample, it'd be there somewhere. But the only tag is for Schaffer's (a dress shop in Des Moines, IA) and the hang straps are blank. There's a style tag hanging inside the dress, but no maker's name.

It's funny, all this time I didn't post a pic because I was worried people would be like 'omg, what an ugly dress'. silly me.

Thank you for the compliment!

VERY silly! That's the kind of dress I dreamed about growing up!

yeah, I don't know how they do it either but most dresses have hidden seems (meaning the seam is inside the lining). I don't sew so I have a hard time imagining how they manage that!
