Monogram on Microsoft Word

Can someone give me detail on how to make Monograms using Microsoft Word?

If you have access to Powerpoint I would suggest you use it instead of Word as things get 'locked down' in Word - you can manipulate better in ppt.

I just spent all morning playing with the computer and experimenting and am getting better at it. Thanks everyone.
