ROR Ceremony ! Help!!

I'm sorry Kerrij for all that you're going through - but (if you don't mind) could you PLEASE tell me what in the world you're paying $700 for?? And for just 7 guests?? Something doesn't sound right...

 

Also, can someone explain how the flower upgrades work? Do I contact Jan's Bridal and Flowers myself and set everything up (what I want, how much, wedding date for delivery, etc.) or do I do all of that through Chandlyn. Also, If I'm just doing the free package and decide to go outside for my flowers, will Chandlyn let me add or upgrade something else since I'm not using those sucky Martha Stewart purple flowers?

I contacted Jan's Bridal and Flowers through her website [http://www.jansflowersjamaica.com/] and one of her associates responded within a day. We then communicated via e-mail including discussing the date, colors, type of arrangements, etc. You do not need to go through Chandlyn to make the arrangements; in fact, Chandlyn will suggest Tai Floral. I've read on this site that other brides added/upgraded other things because they did not use some of the items in the free package. I am planning to ask for better flowers on the free cake and rose petals instead of the free flowers. Just ask for what you want. In addition to Jan's Bridal & Flowers, I've also found that Norma with Lee's Tours & Taxi has wonderful vendors that she works with for cakes, flowers, etc. Norma will coordinate between you and the vendor to get what you want and have it delivered to the resort. If you have the time, I would certainly shop around. Good luck!

But i wanted to comment again on Jan's Flowers...they are AWESOME!!! they are going to coordinate all my flowers to match my bouquet i get free with my package...and their flower petals with a basket is only $18!!! they charge a $25 delivery fee, but i'm ok with that! yay! thanks girls!

Awesome info girls thanks! I'm waiting for quotes from Jan's so will let you know. I got the free package and I'm hoping to change the free bouquet to better flowers for the gazebo. I have seen they use some white tule (sp?) and birds of paradise. Red totally clashes with my colors so don't want to use them.
