Zoom Whitening

Well, I've decided to spend the money and I'm getting Zoom Whitening in two weeks for the wedding! I'll let you know how it goes!

oooh! I'm really curious about zoom! If you don't mind me asking, how much does it cost?

Normally $500 but they are running a holiday special for $395. They just called me and they had a cancellation for tomorrow so I'm doing it tomorrow now! Woohoo!

I'm so jealous! MY mom gave me zoom as a graduation gift but the dentist told me I wasn't a candidate because my teeth are already too white, but i want them to be WHITER! Let us know how you come out!

I just did this 3 weeks ago for the wedding. It is good but not worth the cost IMO - I paid $350 for it. Whitening trays with bleach work just as well so I'd try that next time before the Zoom...although my teeth were pretty white to begin with.

 

Good luck though! Make sure to take some advil/tylenol before.

Thanks for sharing your experience Jess! Maybe I can deal with the whitestrips to save a couple of hundred dollars if the results are going to be the same.

Well, it depends on the person. Obviously if you smoke, drink coffee, red wine, etc they are going to re-stain much quicker.


Ya, the lady told me that Zoom whitens just as well as the take home trays, the reason it's so expensive is that you are paying for the immediate gratification. I have a bonding on my front tooth that will not get whiter with bleaching, so I have no choice but to do it in one step because the dentist will then have to replace my bonding with a coordinating shade. If I did it gradually, the bonding on my tooth would be obvious.

I hope my teeth aren't too white! I'm super excited about this!

I got mine done for $199. They told me I didn't need it because my teeth were too white, but I got it done anyways and I do think it made a difference. The hard part is keeping it up. I got the trays and whitening solution to maintain it but I am awful at doing it. Also, funny enough, I found my teeth to be less sensitive AFTER the treatment. However, my teeth hurt like a bi*ch during it!!! Good luck!
