My monogram - work in progress - suggestions needed!

i saw a face too - i actually couldn't figure out what that was at first (the flower) - maybe it's too much of a close up?

See I thought I was losing it. But I keep looking at it and that is all I see.

So I'm lame because I really don't like it when things aren't symmetrical...but along with playing up the date, I would (personally) try to put the flower on the other side. (ie make a mirror image of it) I think the direction of it and the direction of the font would go better (the font would flow with the curves of the flower more if that makes sense). But it's still REALLY pretty! I love the colors!

Thanks for all the suggestions

For the life of me I couldn't see the face - but its the only thing FI could see too!Now that it has been pointed out we have to change it coz its all that I can see

So we are changing it to a graphic of an orchid in ivory and yellow.

Suggestions about the font were right on - it was too hard to read, so we are changing that and playing up the date a bit more.
