2) the resort provided the lounge furniture. It was about $250. Everyone loved it! And yes, they all used it.
Tracey... wow.. your pictures are amazing! So beautiful. Did you have your hair and make-up done by the resort? Did you like the make-up? Also, I loved your hair flower... is that a real flower? did you get it from the resort? Thank you so much!

ok, the resort is charging too much for the lighted dance floor and DJ...1,800k in total. f no way.

is there a bride that used an outside DJ for a reasonable fee? i got quoted $990 for 4 hours and $350 for the lighted up dance floor from DJ Mania. I feel that's too much. I just really want the lighted up dance floor!

The resort did my hair and make-up and hair and make-up for all of my bridesmaids. They made everyone look great! It was a fake flower. I bought it online. I will try to find the website. You can probably google orchid hair flower and find something similar.

DJ Doremixx/Ivan only charged about $1050 total for the dance floor and DJ service...we had him for 4 hours. They have a HUGE list of songs. They were able to play everything we requested. Ivan will find you at the resort to sit down and talk to you personally about what you expect of him and the type of music you want. You can also make a list of songs and give it to him.

Very detailed review coming soon!

We HIGHLY recommend DelSol Photography!
De Nada Tracey, it was my pleasure!

I posted this in another thread and am not sure if it will get lost.. so I will say it again here.

One thing that stood out to me was the fact that the Royal staff placed 4 palm trees around the ceremony site. Naturally, these trees don't exist in this location. This addition made a NIGHT AND DAY difference with some of my photos, giving me the ability to show depth and also gave the reception an atmosphere. A + Royal for this!

Is this extra? I havent seen it before, but love the concept!

So I am having a bit of a six month before freak out thanks to a bad review some of my guests read on trip advisor. It talks about how the wedding planner didnt care, and the problems with guests that are staying at the Gran Porto. I am getting married at the Royal but about half, if not more, of my guests are staying at the Gran Porto due to children under 16 or just cost. What should I do since those guests cant take part in any rehearsal dinner or cocktails the night before at the Royal, plus can they hang out at the same beach? I dont want them to feel left out... Thanks

This is the review everyone is talking about:

Thanks for keeping me sane!!

Tracey and Matt: Those pictures are simply amazing! Seriously, they take my breath away. Plus, it looks like a REALLY fun wedding!!! Did you guys think that the lighting was adequate for pictures after the sun set?

Denise: I saw that review too. Obviously it isn't what any of us want to hear but I think the troubles can be easily avoided. Are you having a private event for your cocktail and rehearsal dinner? If so, no problem. Otherwise, you might want to consider having those events at the Gran. As for the beach, it's public and open to all but only Royal guests can use the lounge chairs.
