Engraving the ring?

Has anyone engraved their FH's wedding band?

I definately want to do this but I need some ideas for what to put and I knew all my BDW ladies would have tons of ideas...please share.

We're looking at doing this too but may have waited too long. My ring is a special order and won't be here till the end of November <eek..waaaaaay too close for comfort for me!>>

Anyways this site had a TON of ideas...there were actually quite a few that I liked.

I'm considering Semper Fidelis, (Latin for, Always Faithful.) It's a Marine Corp. thing and he was in the Marines. Just thought it would be a double meaning.

The humorous ones are too funny..."nonrefundable"...lol!

I'm going to have "Serendipity" engraved. It's been a cute inside thing with us since the beginning, and really describes our lives before and after we met.

We've engraved ours with 'melior una' which is latin for 'better together. <3 .

I think it's a wonderful idea. Somewhere, I believe here on the forum I saw fingerprints engraved on the inside of the rings. I thought that was really cool!

My rings are able to be engraved the band is too skinny ! But my fiance is going to get his engraved with the coordinates of Puerto Vallarta!

I definitely want to do this too, FI isn't too sure about it but I think he'll like it once it's done.
