i LOVE it! actually - i was a bridesmaid in a wedding and her rule was engaged or married. Now THAT was a very clear deliniation. HA HA!

CLEARLY she was not messing around. i think a couple of people did. i was okay with it - but there was another bridesmaid who had been dating her bf for 11 years - and i think she and her bf were a little offended.

but seeing as how they are no longer together- how offended can she really be? and actually - i am not with the guy i was dating then either! hmmmm - maybe there is something to it.

Hahaha, too funny!! But, I too see the bride's point of view as I am in the same position. I had just planned on putting and guest or not on the invite though ....as Aimee suggested. Haha! I will not be including a message like the bride's. THanks for the laugh though!

Ha, that is funny. I do see the bride's side of things. I think even if she used & guest or not, people still bring extras. Some times people just don't get that if it doesn't say "& guest" only you are invited.
