Stressed Out During Contract Negotiations!!

I have a vent...I am totally stressed out right now...we are in the process of negotiating our contract with the resort and it's been a LOT of back and forth. I am even more stressed out by the fact that in my mind, I want my wedding at this resort. On the other hand, I will not settle for just anything and put me or my guests in a bad spot. Just the thought of not having the wedding at the resort I want has me feeling a bit down right now.

So sorry to hear about the stress you are dealing with. What have you been negotiating? The wedding or the resort accomodations?

Well I agree with you not getting a contract until you get everything you want. You may have to threaten to go elsewhere.

We are having a decently large wedding at the Barcelo 75-125 people next April and there has been a ton of back and forth.

I honestly never thought it would be this tough...I almost pulled to the plug and changed locations many times over the last week and half, but there are already 30 rooms booked so it would be a major drama so I am just trying to work through it with them.

I just feel like they are acting like a "Wedding factory" and not like a resort thats occupancy is so low that 2 of the 5 resorts are closed right now
