Trash The Dress Or TTD

Trash the dress, also known as fearless bridal or rock the frock, is a style of wedding photography that contrasts elegant clothing with an environment in which it is out of place.  For Destination Weddings, it is common to have the pictures taken on the beach, in the ocean, in pools.  Usually these sessions are taken the day after the wedding so they are also called “Day After Sessions”.

Some sources claim that the trend was created by a Las Vegas wedding photographer names John Michael Cooper in 2001.

Del Sol photography specializes in shooting Trash the Dress sessions in cenotes (a natural well formed by the collapse of an overlying limestone crust: often used as a sacrificial site by the Mayas).

Trash the Dress sessions are generally shot in the style of fashion and glamour photography... There aren't really any rules when it comes to these types of photo sessions.  The mail goal is to have the most fun imaginable and let loose of all anxieties and stresses in life.  The photos from these sessions will peak your imagination!

Some brides prefer not to trash their original wedding dress and instead will bring an alternate dress to wear for the Trash the Dress session.
