I would just warn others to not do business with him. That's very shady. How can your order something and then half way through the order they change the price. Craptastic.

 

Will I still be able to get mine though? Yikes, that's cutting it close. I'll cross my fingers that the pashmina gods love me today.

However, I do think it's bulls* that he's changing the terms of our original agreement and jacking up the price.

to be honest - even though it is super bad business practice on his part and a breach of contract to boot - whatever! the additional price is still much cheaper then what we would have to pay to get a replacement for what is missing!

Ok, I just called (and called and called) until it wasn't busy and finally got thru to our guy there. I gave him my credit card info and verified that he would be making the shipment TODAY. I will believe it when I see it, but I didn't want the fact that he no longer had my billing information on file (like, where'd it go, since you only snet us 1/2 of our order). I will be glad to be done with this guy!

I'm definitely willing to pay the $3.25, but I really think you should report him to the BBB after you receive the pashminas. This is really bullshit and the $.50 difference per piece is a significant percentage markup when you think about it - especially when you are ordering a ton of pashminas. Something to work out (price markup, etc.) for the BBB letter.

 

How soon will these be able to come? I was hoping to wrap them per cheesediva's method and then bring them with me when I go for my shower in NY in a couple wks so that my parents can bring them on the plane...

Rachel... if he ships them today (which he just e-mailed me that he is), they WILL get to you in time. Even if I have to overnight them to you, I will get them there. Don't worry! In reality, I assume they'll be here on Saturday, maybe Monday and then I'll ship them immediately. I would look for them on your front door on Saturday the 22nd. - it should weigh approx 6 pounds and will cost right around $5
