I hope we didn't stand backwards.. I stood on the minister's right when he was facing us.. my hair clip was on the right side of my hair so when I was facing DH, the crowd could see.. (it wasn't planned like that but I'm glad it worked out that way.)

Angela, that sounds right. WHen facing the minister (and your back is to the crowd), you are on the left and hubbie on the right. So if you are facing hubbie, your right side of the head would face the crowd.
