I am strongly considering getting soaked post-ceremony and having my mom make me a short vintage-inspired dress for the reception & dancing. I need to see how mom feels about that, I guess.

think photos like this:

where i can keep my hair & makeup looking good. I guess that would mean that Chris would need another outfit too though... we'll see.

My bridesmaids jumped in the pool in their gowns toward the end of the evening. It was very funny. Too bad the photographer was gone. I don't think we got any photos.

Day after sounds cool. Maybe there's another way of thinking about this. Maybe you find a very inexpensive dress that you wouldn't have to alter but still gets the point accross.

You could have a fun shot mid-air jumping into the pool or any number of those photos in the water. The guys clothes are still an issue, though. Especially since they can still wear them again.

These shots are amazing but it hurts me to think of putting my (not that I have one yet) gorgeous wedding dress in a chlorine pool or sea water. Now if therre was a fresh water pool available I'd be a little more willing. I dfo think it would be really cool to do this the next day in a second (cheap) dress - just for the amazing pictures!
