ACDCDCAC
Melissa, I would think if I wanted to do a 6X6 card, I would need enough for 2 6" sides, plus enough for about a 2 or 3" pocket, plus the flap, about another 2 or 3". So 18", or 20" long to be safe, and then at least 8" wide (in order to do a 1"flap on each side that would double-stick tape the pocket to the side), but where in the world would I find Stardream-type shimmery paper that size I'm pretty sure I'll just buy the pre-made pocketfold cards, then just do my own matting and invite card, respond card, inserts, printing, etc. I just really wanted to play with it and have something to see in person to figure out what I thought. Thanks for all your encouraging comments! Really, if you saw these in person, you would have to snicker at me a little. But the idea is great, I just don't know how to pull off the whole paper size issue. Also, I am sure I would be completely happy just orderding the pre-made pockets. It was just fun to try Seriously tho, if anyone knows where I can get the crazy size paper, let me know!
ACDCDCAC
HA! I just found some 12"X18", and possibly some full-size, stardream paper at Traditional and specialty envelopes and papers, including metallic paper - Paper-Papers.com, so my vision maay become a reality. I gotta crunch some numbers and see what would be more cost-effective for me.
Maura
abb those look great for being mock-ups. have you also looked at paper-source? (paper-source.com) they have that kind of paper and i believe it comes in the size you need if you buy one of the big sheets they sell. i was just there the other day and thought about buying them to make a mock-up STD because we arent sure what size we want to do.
