Here is what we were thinking for our honeymoon:

 

BMW and Mercedes have this European Delivery program that lets your purchase (or lease) your car in the States and pick it up in Germany. They have drop off locations all over Europe so you take a roadtrip where ever you want. Italy, Spain, Switzerland!

 

I think it sounds romatic and totally fun.

 

Here are the perks:

*2-for-1 airfare when you fly Lufthansa (If you choose to fly in

Business Class from the U.S. to Munich, your companion flies for

75% off)

*7% off the retail price

*Tourist registration

*Factory preparation

*Inland European transportation from the designated drop-off point

*Marine insurance

*Customs duty and clearance

*U.S. port processing and accessory installation

*Wharfage and handling fees

Nice, how convenient! Too bad I just got a new car a couple years ago - I should have done something like this! I hate the BMW dealership I went to in MN, and I haven't been that impressed with the one in Chicago either. Oh well, but I will keep this in mind when I am ready for a new one!
