oh and probably a bit of a motivator for me was the entire time i was in memphis for christmas my granny kept making snide remarks about how fat i was. gotta love her!

GRANDMA! i guess that generation has earned the right to say whatever they want. but that's still pretty bad! my mom did something similar to me the week I was visiting her and told her I was prego. I was wearing a tighter pair of jeans (that I THOUGHT looked ok!) and she said "well, you certainly won't be wearing those much longer" - yikes!

gotta love it! my mom would look at me and say "are we going to eat that?" its no wonder i dont have an eating disorder. i did for a while. if only i had the discipline now!
