Tami: I think they look really cute, despite the fact that they aren't what you wanted. that being said, I'm sure that the vendor will work with you to resolve the issue to your satisfaction. If not, get your credit card company involved. They have an amazing ability to rectify stuff like this.

Well, i think they are cute... but small.

But when I look at the imprint size on the website it's 2 x 1.25. So since your's is a circle then it sound be about 1.25 inches in all directions. Is it smaller than that?

I think the mugs are wonderful! I love the colors and the design of the mug. Although the image is really small (I was hoping you could at least read it), I still think they look great. I think Angela had a valid point in noting that your guest would be more apt to continue using them after the wedding with a smaller logo.

However, with all that aside, I think it's really pathetic that the company sent you the mugs without your approval. Is it their standard practice to send you a proof first? If so, I would demand some type of retribution- especially since you are not happy with them. That's what's important- your happiness.

I don't know about everyone else, I love this forum for so many reasons. One of them is the ability to reach hundreds of brides to notify them of crappy service and warn them about the potential mishaps should they do business with the company. It's sweet revenge for poor customer service. I hope this company makes the effort to make it right.

I think you have every right to send them back and receive replacements (with PROOFS this time).

That aside, I also think they're cute and agree with what someone else said about ppl being more likely to use them afterwards. But I think the point here is that you're not happy so you should be able to "exchange" them for what you really want.

That is why I sent them 2 different files. The one they used and one that was wider (not a circle). I would think someone in the art department would have let me know that the size of the circular logo would be difficult to read and perhaps suggest the other one.

I am really surprised by all of this b/c I have heard of people having such good luck with discountmugs.com.

Hopefully the lady who has responded to my concerns will ehlp get this rectified.
