Cost of Getting Legally Married in Cancun

Recommended Posts

Thanks! I love how it's so much quicker to get info here then from the resort.

I thought that she was talking about the blood tests but I wasn't quite sure. FH would rather get married here (at city hall) and then just the ceremony down there but I'm pushing for doing everything down there. So I wanted to make sure I had all the info and he wouldn't be surprised with extra costs.

Sunbride did you look into getting the apostille back in Canada? Just wondering which was the better option.

Hi there, I'm from the UK and we're getting married legally in Mexico, I know its much easier to just have ceremony @ Dreams and do the legal stuff @ home and it does also save money but I personally want to do it all @ Dreams. If you do have the legal ceremony you must also get your birthcirtificates appostled too, I would speak to your WC about this, some say you can do it when you arrive and some have done it @ home before travelling, just something else to keep in mind x

Does anyone know if I just have a symbolic ceremony if that is included in their packages? What is the average price to get married legally in the states?

Thanks for your help!

We were legally married in Ohio too before we left for Dreams.
It was only about $70 total I think.
