Moon palace

Hi everyone,

 

I am getting married next year july09 at the moon palace. I havnt booked it yet as they havnt got 09 prices out yet in the uk for summer time.

 

Just wondering if anyone else is getting married there or has been married there.

 

If so did you have a cocktail party and private reception?

 

Did you choose everything you wanted for your wedding when you got to the resort or before?

 

Could you bring your own music?

 

Did they have favours on offer?

 

 

If you have any information I would be most greatful

 

Its harder doing things from the uk.

I got married this past December at Aventura Spa Palace, Moon's sister resort. The resort is obviously different but the wedding packages are identical. See my comments below

I had a cocktail party beachside and a private buffet reception in one of the ballrooms   Did you choose everything you wanted for your wedding when you got to the resort or before? I did alot of my planning with my wedding coordinator before we got to the resort- they work with you via email. It was especially nice because if I had an idea, I'd email it along and they'd say if it was possible or not.   Could you bring your own music?As in an Ipod or Cds? yes I'm not sure about live music   Did they have favours on offer? Hi! I am getting married @ MP on 4-10-08 so I will try to answer your questions the best I can!

*We are bringing cd's and our iPod - the WC said they have a cd player available for songs during the ceremony. If you are having a private function afterwards I am sure you can use it there too - but we are just bringing some small iPod speakers - there is also a disco there if you want to use that for dancing!

*They do have some favors/table settings, etc on the website that you can look at (Palace Resorts - Welcome to the Official Site) under weddings/optional services. I don't think they list prices anywhere though - not that I could find anyway.

*Also I have mostly been contacting our WC by phone with questions - a few emails here and there - but she has been really helpful and nice!!
