Cobalt Blue and Tan? Any comment?

Hello all!

 

I decided that today would be the day I pick my wedding colors. Mostly because I have been so busy with the holidays all planning has been on hold and I felt the need to make some progress! Also, a lot of things are on hold until I can make the decision...and I thought I could do it today but it seems as if I may not be able to commit! So any feedback, suggestions or comments you have are welcome and appreciated!

 

I am thinking cobalt blue and tan.

 

We are getting married on the beach in Cabo in November. I think my dress will be white and I will carry white flowers.

 

We will use the colors for our website, save the dates, invitations, monogram, OOT bags, and of course, the reception and ceremony decor.

 

I have not been able to find pictures of one single wedding or event using these two colors!! Although I have included a picture with blue table cloths that is close to the color I am thinking.

 

If anyone has seen this combination and has some suggestions, pictures, ideas etc. please let me know!!

I think that pic is a beautiful place to start. Why not just use tan as more of an accent color for the tables?

 

Our colors are aqua and coral -- but our BM dresses are champagne and GM outfits are more khaki -- so we've got a lot of "tan" kinds of colors mixed in.

I think it is the best of both worlds - bright and fun and nuetral and clean. You'll have to find something the exact shade of cobalt you are thinking, so we know. Sounds great though!

Love it! I'm not sure what tableware they use where you're getting married, but many places I've been in Mexico use cobalt rimmed glasses like this

I think it would look very nice! You could use gold with it too - like a sparkly tan. : )
