My name is Kelly, I just got engaged this Christmas, planning a wedding in Cabo San Lucas in spring 2009. This website is great! I've already gotten some great ideas just from browsing.

I'm really interested in hearing from someone who knows about civil weddings in Mexico. I'm not sure whether to have the civil wedding at home and religious in Mexico, or do the civil and religious in Mexico. How would that work? I've heard that the civil ceremony in Mexico is performed by a judge in Spanish and the vows cannot be customized. I'm not sure that is what I want to do in front of my guests. What do most people do? Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much! Congrats to you all!
