Are you going to (did you) sell your dress after the wedding?

Recommended Posts

I voted maybe because it does depend on the dress! I really want to be able to make either a christening outfit out of my dress for my daughter(hopefully) or a first communion dress! I think that would be cool. I would also like to donate it as well though too, so i'm not sure! I really have to find a dress first!!

I might, but I think I could also wear my dress again after (and not tell peolple it was my wedding dress?), so may end up keeping it. I wouldn't keep it for a future daughter or daughter-in-law if I ever have one though, as I wouldn't want to put that pressure on her

I'm actually getting 2 dresses and plan on leaving my reception dress behind for my room cleaning staff to give to a family member because it could be worn as a fancy dress and not just a wedding dress- and I really have no need to bring it home and store it. I will probably sell my ceremony dress or donate it somewhere at home afterward. I just want them to be loved be someone else as much as I hopefully love them (haven't purchased yet but have the styles I want)

I am so torn with this. My mom gifted the dress to me so it has sentimental value now :(. I'm also wearing it twice, once for my wedding in Mexico and another for a reception in Argentina. I'm so excited to wear it more than once! haha
