What should we give my parents for a gift??

My parents have very generously given us money to help pay for the wedding so I'd like to get them a nice gift to say thank you. Any ideas??

 

What have other brides done?

 

Should I do a sentimental keepsake or a fun gift like a couples message and a candlelight dinner on the beach?

I haven't even begun to think about what we are getting our parents. I like your idea for the dinner on the beach though.

I think the massage and dinner would be nice, or you could take them on some kind of excursion that they would like and that way you can spend some time with them alone as a thank you.

Oh, I like the idea of an excursion. I bet they would love to do a zip line! ( I know that sounds weird to say about one's parents but it's true). They are super romantic though so that's what made me think massage and dinner on the beach.

The massage & dinner on the beach sounds like a great idea. I think the thoughts alone are a great gesture & are sure they'll be appreciative.

I think it all depends on your parents. My parents would hate a massage and would probably freak out at the thought of having one. (They've never had one)..

 

A great keepsake would be a photobook with pictures off your family at your wedding or on their vacation.

 

With that said, we gave our MOH/BM (married couple) a couples massage on the beach at Dreams and they loved it.. complete with champagne and strawberries afterward.

 

I thought the dinner on the beach option was overpriced for what it was.. we saw a couple just off from where we were eating and it didn't look super fabulous, but having not done it, couldn't say.

I know how you feel; we were completely stumped on what to get my parents (they paid for our wedding too). We decided to make them a scrap book with all the photos in it from the wedding.

 

We’re also looking into getting them a digital picture frame with the professional pictures loaded on it.

I love the digital picture frame idea! that might be a winner. I've planned on doing a photo album all along b/c on of the things they are paying for is the photographer but this would be great b/c they have a ton of amazing photos that just sit on their computer.
