DJ in Jamaica? How are they?

Recommended Posts

Hey everybody, my wedding is at the Riu Negril in Jamaica and I have recently been advised to bring my own music to have the DJ play for the reception. Could anyone tell me how their DJ was.....in jamaica?..... If you brought your own CD's, would burned CD's work okay? I know some older systems won't play a burned CD. Has anyone tried putting all thier music on a MP3 player or Ipod? Any ideas or help would be fantastic!!

Thanks!smile41.gif

I just wanted to say that I burned a CD with about 12-15 songs on it for my wedding ceremony. I gave them to Chandlyn who said it was fine. It worked perfectly. She had a CD player and played each song that I told her to play at what time. I did NOT have to have each song burned on to a different CD. I don't know when you would ever have to do that. It sounded perfect and there were no problems. She then put them on shuffle to play while we had our pictures taken. So you should be absolutely fine with a burned CD during your ceremony at the RIUOR.
