Jamaica welcome bags

Hi everyone,

My DW is in Jamaica in March and I'm trying to put together the welcome bags to have in everyone's room once they arrive. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should put in them? I'm already thinking some kind of snacks (perhaps Jamaican themed) and candles, but other than that I'm not sure.....

I have been thinking about this too. I'm currently gathering ideas. I decided that I would give everyone a maraca to bring to the ceremony to shake during our first kiss, but I am also putting one or two of these straws for fun.

Then I will do aloe and chap stick w/ sunblock and I'm not sure what else.

The maraca idea sounds fun, I think guests would love it. I've also been playing with the idea of personalized embroidered towels, but I'm afraid they might get too expensive. Usually there's a minimum order but I'd only want them for hte bridal party..... Once I think of more ideas I'll let ya know!

I know I really want the towels but they are a bit expensive. I talked to an embroidery guy in the mall and he said if I brought him the towels he would only charge $6.00 for the embroidery, but I don't know because it will still be a lot of money for a quality towel.

i went to Bath and Body the other day and got mango mandarin soaps for $1 each. They smell tropical. i also bought really cheap tahiti sweeti body lotion. that is as far as i got but i am excited to have started purchasing things

albrosious that's a good idea with the bath and body find! i know they are having some good after christmas sales, i need to go check that out!

also, they have a bunch of beachy scented lotions and stuff, even those room infuser things that my mom bought to give as shower gifts. it was such a great find!
