Okay so I sent my save the dates quite a few months ago and we only invited like 50 people total maybe.

Those who are coming have already booked their trip and those who haven't booked I talk to all the time and they are still toying with the idea of coming so it's on their minds. The rest...I already know aren't coming.

So the question is, should I still send invitations? I feel like it's unnessary because for those who aren't coming, it won't change their minds and for those who are, are already coming..I could just send them something with trip and wedding info...

I don't know what to do?

I am still sending them, but I think it's a personal preference. We actually stopped at the post office this morning to get stamps for the invitations and Mike told me that I'm crazy to still send out invites for that exact reason - we know who is coming and who is not already. I think if you like invitations and have the time/money to do them, then go for it. But if it's going to be a hassle or too expensive, then skip it. (Sorry, that wasn't much help was it?!?)

Anything is a help! :) Brad says the same thing that I don't need to send them and I know my family will think it's a waste of money, my friends won't care...the only ones I am concerned about are his family because they are so traditional...Plus...I would like to have an invitation for my scrapbook! See where my priorities are! :)

Maybe I will just do a simple one page cheap deal...with no rsvp cards...just tell them to go rsvp on the wedding website....

I had that same question when it was time for me to send my invites.

I didn't want people thinking we were fishing for presents, because we are not, but the point was made that you want them to know you still wish they were part of your special day.

So I sent them!

I'm sending invitations to guests who have booked. I'm doing DIY pocketfold invites, so the invitation will actually be more than just an invite. It will also have Travel Information, The invitation to our welcoming party and spanish phrases, to help them during their stay.

I'm sending invitations to everyone. I thought for the people going it would be nice for them to have for their photo album/scrapbook from our wedding/vacation together.

I put in my STDs that formal invite to follow, so i'm kinda obligated to send it to everyone. But i'm really excited about sending people the boarding pass invitations that I picked out. I think they are so neat and can't wait for people to get them. I'm such a dork!!!

There's a lot of really nice ones that are inexpensive, you can get those. I wouldn't send RSVPs out with them.
