Makeup with Sun Protection

Sunblock/Makeup.... what are you girls doing about this?

 

Have you found a makeup with a sunblock in it

i use oil of olay moisturizer with spf15 in it and then just put my makeup on on top of that. i use bare minerals foundation and i think that actually has spf in it too.

I do the same thing - moisturizer with sunscreen and then my makeup I think they do sell makeup with sunscreen, but I'd worry it would clog my pores.

Ialso just use a tinted moisturizer with spf 15

I have been using MD Skincare tinted moisturizer --- it has 15 spf. I really love it. I've also used Prescriptives tinted moisturizer, too. My aesthetician told me that I didn't need anything higher than 15 spf ... but then you see all these products with much higher ones. Regardless, I've liked these two because they don't feel heavy or greasy.

 

OH - BTW - the lady at Bobbie Brown who did my best friend's make up for her wedding said that you should NOT use a foundation w/ sunscreen for the wedding. She said that most of them contain an ingredient that reflects the sunlight --- but that same ingredient will reflect that flash from the camera - and you'll end up really shiny and on some people it will really wash them out.

Bare Minerals has SPF 15 in it I believe. I love that - I use it on top of a facial lotion with SPF 15 or 20 and it keeps my facial skin looking great

I use Colorscience mineral powder foundation - it has an spf of 25. It's much like bare minerals. It's works well in Cabo because it's sweat proof.

I just started using Laura Mercier's oil free tinted moisturizer which contails SPF 20. I have also used Bare Minerals, and at the very least I use Cetaphil or Clinique Moisturizer which contains SPF 15.

I use select tint SPF 15 from MAC

I use Clinique Almost Make-up which has Sunblock in it. I also have their face sunblock for days that I don't wear make-up.
