Im gonna hijack the thread but has anyone ever looked into Sapphire Beach? I went to their beach years ago and it's what made me decide when I'd get married, it'd be somewhere tropical. There is a beautiful extension that is over the water and at the end is where they set up for the weddings. You can see St. John perfectly. I wish I can find pics.. it's GORGEOUS.

I am getting married in December with Island Bliss. Janelle has been amazing so far, I probably sent her 20 emails before I ever sent the deposit and she was so helpful. She is quick to respond and has great suggestions! Also, her prices are great!

Since we're eloping, we didn't really do a "package", so I can't help you with that. But she will work with you if you want anything at all that isn't listed in her packages.

Decided to just jump in. Hope you do not mind. I have personally met with Janelle and YES she is lovely, professional and knowledgeable. I spoke with Angela only via telephone and it is my understanding from guests, etc. that she does a great job as well. Good luck in the planning and your journey towards your special day in paradise. Planning is going as well as to be expected. I feel like I should be doing more planning than I am, but I guess that's what happens when you have a destination wedding. We're not planning on visiting the island prior to the wedding, so we will just hope for the best!

I have been having trouble getting in contact with someone to help with welcome/gift bags for the guests. The person my WC recommended never got back to me and that was about 6 weeks ago. Any suggestions?

I don't know of anyone, but hopefully someone else can help you out. I've had to learn that everyone down there is on "island time" and you have to be patient and try to email/call several times sometimes. It's really hard for me, because I'm used to emailing someone and getting a response within a day, so it's hard to wait a week or two to hear back from a vendor, but I guess that's pretty normal for the islands.
