Thanks for the info. I ended up designing them (with help from the forum) and printing them at vistaprint. I love how they turned out & it's really fun that I made them myself (with BDW).

Check out Invitations by Dawn's destination Wedding section. They have some pretty inexpensive invites. If you order, make sure you order more than you think you'll need. The difference in price between 75 and 100 is not that much, but if you need to place an additional order for 25 only, the price is twice as much!

i did message in a bottle invitations. i ordered the plastic corked bottles off of ebottles.com and then ordered the paper invitations from invitationsbydawn. just bought the sand and tiny shells at a craft store, bought some tropical postage off of zazzle.com and tied a little starfish with string around the cork in the bottle. also put a little bit of coconut scent inside the bottle. shipped them in the mail as is (for plastic bottles you don't have to put them in a box or package or anything, just put the stamp right on the bottle) and am still getting tons of compliments on them. they were cheap and easy and my favorite thing about the wedding so far!

I'm lucky enough to have a friend who is a graphic designer who has agreed to do my invites for me. I was just at her house looking at photos and graphics and stuff and I am really excited! She and I like the same kinda stuff so I think it will turn out really well :)

i got mine from The White Aisle : Unique Wedding Favors and Invitations -- rebecca was so wonderful to work with and they got back to me quickly with any questions and the revisions of the proofs. i just paid for them today. i am excited, because the proofs are beautiful. we ordered 100 invitations with envelopes that had our return address printed on them, and 80 rsvp cards. the total was $350. will post photos when they arrive! we are debating whether or not to include a little enclosure with a reminder about the accommodations info that we would print on vellum and slide in there. we may do it just for the people who havent booked by the time we send out invites may 10th.
