just make sure you really have it afixed in your hair, when we were taking our photos after our ceremony my veil came off, but don't let that stop you from wearing a veil because I totally felt like a bride once my veil was put on.

ps) definately ran into problems like you described with a beach wedding, it kept pulling on her hair and she had to hold it, but either way, it's your wedding and you'll be beautiful!
