Announcements

Anyone out there doing announcements? I wanted to do this, since we weren't able to invite everyone. That being said, is it totally ridiculous to send an email announcement? I don't have anybody's snail mail addresses! I thought about sending a pic with a note about our wedding, just via email... Thoughts?

I like that idea Jen. Perhaps do up a photoshop/lumapix announcement for emailing.... just a suggestion. We didn't do announcements actually we kinda did if save the dates count. We just did up a post card in photoshop but sent it snail mail. Postage is not cheap so I'd go email.... good idea.

I would just do an email. Or if you want to send more pictures send out a link to your website so people can see/read all the details without having to download pics.

we didn't do announcements, well not really. we did put a wedding photo on our christmas cards - and more people got the cards than were invited to the wedding - so i figured it was kind of like an announcement.

I think emailing out a link to photographs along with a nice note about the wedding would be a good idea. I've been telling everyone that if they can't make it not to worry because we'll share videos & pictures with them when they get back.
