No advice really, but I LOVE Gulf Shores Alabama! It's so beautiful there! My favorite thing was waking up in the morning, looking out my window and watching the dolphins playing! Beautiful.

The first and most important thing to consider for a beach wedding is the time of the ceremony. If you are NOT seeing the groom prior to the ceremony, you will want to have your ceremony atleast an hour and half prior to sunset. This will give your photographer time to shoot the two of you after the ceremony. If you ARE seeing him prior, get your photos done before hand and have your ceremony closer to sunset. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum! If you've just started planning your wedding, you'll need to get organized with a list of what your ideal wedding will have and what your resort can offer. Ask your WC at the resort for ideas or a list of what she needs for you to get her (eg, colors, # of guests, civil or religious ceremony, music, etc...). For centerpieces, since you're having the reception on the beach as well, they'll probably advise you to use hurricaines around the candles if you are set on using candles to try to retain the flame against the wind.

Good luck and happy planning! thewave.gif
