Destination Wedding 2019 April Or May - Help

Hi there,

My fiance and I are looking for some help in making preparations and selecting a resort for a wedding we are looking to have in the Dominican Republic. We are looking at between March to May 2019.

We have done some research online on different website, TA and this one. We had initially shortlisted 8 hotels and emailed their wedding planners but unfortunately things have not gone very smoothly. The responses are more about plans for the wedding event itself but we need help making arrangements and getting a per person price for a 1 week stay at the hotels too. Where would you I go about getting some help on that? The number of guests is about 60 with small kids.

Congratulations & welcome to the BDW forum!! You've come to the right place. There are many great resort options in the Dominican Republic. We have toured and stayed at many of them and I'll be in Punta Cana again visiting 6 new resorts next month. We have personal relationships with many of the resorts and can help you with contacting the wedding planners.

I highly recommend using a travel agent for your group block. A TA will typically get the best rates for your group and will provide personalized service for your guests.
