We just got engaged on Christmas 2016. We have always talked about a wedding in Mexico. Francis of Assisi in Xcaret is where we want to get married. I'm looking for the closest place to stay for my wedding party. If any brides or now wives have any information that can help me, I would forever be grateful!

Congratulations on your engagement. I wish I could offer you some help with hotels near by. I have heard and seen many videos of that location. Absolutely beautiful

I just looked off google maps and it looks like two all inclusive resorts are somewhat close.

I'm looking for an all inclusive resort & a videographer. But the catch is I'm renting the church at Xcaret but have a wedding reception at the resort where we stay. Adults only. Please help with info. Also other info I might need.

Did you already book the church? Because the resort could probably do it for you. Especially Occidental. I'm not sure about the other one since it's opening.  All inclusive resorts usually offer wedding packages.

Are there any brides who had a civil/legal wedding done at the resort? If so what was the process to ensure it was legal once you were back in the states.
