Beach And Baby?

Recommended Posts

So, me and my fiance have been considering going back to the place where we met and getting married on the beach. We're wanting to keep it really simple, with a few close friends and family, and hopefully spend most of what would have been spent on an expensive wedding on doing a bit of travelling for our honeymoon.

The problem is that we're wanting to involve our baby in this wedding, and we think she's going to be around 10 months or so for the dates we have in mind, and we're not sure if a beach wedding is practical... or even going abroad for that matter. We've actually already bought this pram: http://www.prams.net/knorr-baby-alive-pure-pram-eco-leather-ecru-beige-cas we saw that a seat can be attached and it can be used for the wedding as well when she's a bit older. But first of all we're wondering if this is practical for travelling, and whether or not it's going to survive the beach. We're wondering whether to invest in another pram and cancel getting this one before it arrives, or shall we just change our plans and look for a more realistic destination closer to home?

Congratulations!

Firstly, no I don't have a child so I can't offer advice on pram.

however, my niece is very well travelled already and she's 15 months. She's happily enjoyed beach holidays in Hawaii and Palm Springs etc. A beach is fine however saying this think about the time of year you go due to the excessive heat and the age of your baby due to their regular jabs and destination jabs needed to travel especially if you are thinking D.R. Your Dr may suggest you travel after your baby is at least 1 to a destination like that.

Happy planning!
